For over a year I've been housebound and haven't been able to go to the dentist to take off my braces, but today i did!! I have been avoiding this for months and I was so nervous that i even thew up, but I still did it and all was ok :) I even managed to speak to the orthodontist (my mum usually has to speak for me) which is a huge win as my voice normally closes up. My heart was racing so fast though and i could barley breathe due to panic, but afterwards i felt do relieved and proud of myself.
