I want to do something more with my life and give myself a reason to get up in he morning, try to find out new paths i can go down. So instead of continuing to create a portfolio for tattooing, which i dont think can occupy me for a career but maybe as a side job, ive instead set myself up for a new college course doing animal management starting in september. Ive never been able to sit through a whole course before but knowing my massive interest in animals i think this is something i can achieve even if it takes an absurd amount of energy or work because of my anxiety, plus i know a lot more now than what i used to know about myself as a whole and ways to manage outside of my comfort zone For this course i need to complete a set amount of hours doing work experience with animals, so i have contacted many places near me (since my anxiety hates going out of my house at the minute, i dont know how id cope with going out of town) and i have a found a place that said they can acept me for 3 hours each shift, and more if i decided i wanted more. I went to their place today which is about a 10minute drive from me, meaning that im still challenging my anxiety but not overstepping my boundaries too much, and doing 3 hours would slowly ease me into working. These hours will be completed outside too which is another thing that can sometimes trigger my anxiety, mainly when its too hot. This is a step ive never taken before but im willing to really atand my ground with my anxiety and work with it instead of against it My first shift if on friday 1:30pm-4:30pm and im so excited but so anxious for it to start
