It's been so comforting to see so many folks on here celebrating their walks. There was a time in my life where walking my dog felt like the biggest hurdle of the day. Some days it still can feel that way, but not today. Sometimes when I go on walks I "zone" out, almost as a protective mechanism to detach from everything, but despite going through some of that, I walked my dog and we were out for a good amount of time. He is three years old, and is a miniature poodle named Mochi. Small steps are still steps, and I think Mochi appreciates having his sniff time.
