I've been really anxious about this trip since i found out my mum booked it, which was about 6 or 7 months ago, and I won't lie im absolutely terrified about going. Not just the flight but being away from home, family and my cats especially for the (ament to be) 9 days, worrying about if ive packed enough and all the other "what ifs" and ive been trying to put aside the thoughts and try to not think about it at all, but that made things worse because I didnt acknowledge what I was actually feeling and i didnt tell anyone about my feelings either (this has been something ive tried to work on over the past few years) Because of this (and a lot of other stuff thats been happening) my wins have become less frequent however there's a tiny part of me that really wants to go on this trip, I know im going to have panic attacks out there and its probably going to be horrid but I keep thinking about other people's flights with agoraphobia and how they've done it and been fine My win for today is that I sat for a few hours and broke down the goal of completing the holiday into smaller steps (for example): 1) get to the airport 2) get on the flight 3) spend half a day there 4) spend a full day there (Etc...) This type of planning usually helps me with my walks and I'll probably break down these steps into smaller ones too since i still dont believe fully that I can push to step one yet, but im glad ive spent the time to do that and I'll update you on anything that happens once I (hopefully) get there :)
