I have been medication free since februari, and not in therapy for about a month longer than that, but this past month has been absolute hell for my anxiety. Its stressfactor on stressfactor and its just too much to handle. With my upcoming trip, which is also a massive trigger, i have been crying everyday, getting anxiety attacks that i havent had in a year all over again. So after dreading it very long, i asked for help at my therapist office. She called me this evening, and we talked about just my anxiety, all the stuff influencing it, my fear of fainting... all those things. It was a hard step to take, but im relieved i did. She told me im being too hard on myself expecting my body to function while with everything happening, thats basically inhuman to expect it to not give all my symptoms.I t doesnt feel like a win, but she told me it is definatly one since asking for help isnt a step back but a step forward. Ive been doing good for a long time. Its ok to not be fine all the time.
