I made it home from my 10 day camping trip in the Mountains of New Hampshire. It was just what I needed, for that ten days anyway. I am so grateful I was able to spend those days with friends I only get to see once a year. I had one night with a brief wave of panic, but it subsided quite quickly. I was able to drive myself there, and drive myself home. On the way home I had some anxiety as it got darker but all in all it went well. We had to stop on the side of the road to replace the fan belt on our converted greyhound bus, but things like that don't bother me. I think it is what turns a normal trip into a bit of an adventure. Last year I let my elevated anxiety keep me from this trip that we have taken every year for the last 12 years, and I almost let it stop me this year, but I am so glad I didn't. I kind of wish I was still there :)
