Today felt like a real test — one I honestly wasn’t sure I could handle. We went into London: Madame Tussauds, the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum. Everywhere was packed. So many people. It’s incredible how quickly anxiety can rise when you’re surrounded like that — on the Tube, in endless queues, people pushing past you. And at the same time, you’re trying to be a good dad, looking after the kids, keeping them safe, while also trying to keep yourself calm. It really was a wonderful experience though. Coming home was a bit chaotic with the hospital and my aunt not being well. Now I’m lying in bed after nearly 20,000 steps, thinking about the moments where I felt anxious — I’m not even sure how many there were. Mostly, I’m just thinking about how far I’ve come. It’s not something I’d want to do every day — London can be a bit overwhelming — but it feels good to know I got through it.
