Today I visited a new Museum that recently opened a couple of months ago. I learned about this Museum from an online list and I didn't really know what to expect, but I went into the space with an open mind and an open heart. I actually am super proud of myself because I managed to have a full-on conversation with the artist who created this Museum and as somebody who's tapping into her creativity. And actually I've been spending a lot of time working on my art as an outlet for my anxiety and for just processing the past year. It was really crazy for me to be anxious while talking to this actual artist and showing her some of my work and having this deep conversation about art and although it was uncomfortable, it was something I really wanted to do and I feel really good about the fact that I just acted like myself instead of censoring or suppressing myself. I was super excited to be there and instead of hiding it or trying to look normal or trying to act a certain way, I just let myself be excited and I let myself stay present and I'm super thankful that I got a chance to actually talk to a real artist for the first time ever. My anxiety could never have let me do that a few years ago, but today I did!
