Hey everyone. So on Tuesday night I had an unexpected anxiety spike - the kind that a few months ago would have left me unable to leave the house for days/weeks. It felt awful. The kind that makes you think ‘I’ll never get over this’. Truly awful. Today (Thursday) I went into uni and gave a presentation to 30 people. Safe to say I was bricking it beforehand. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to cope - but I did it, and I was able to stay for another 2 1/2 hours for the seminar that followed. I have work tomorrow and Saturday, and (as is the nature of a nervous system disorder) my brain has now decided to worry about that instead. But I know that what happened today was a sign of progress that my nervous system will register, even though it felt so difficult. X (If anyone is interested, my presentation was on 6 different theses on what constitutes political power) haha
