Earlier today (10:30am ish until about lunch time) I helped out with the testing room and I didnt expect to actually talk during that but since it was just me and Peter I found it quite easy. Don't get me wrong, it still felt uncomfortable talking to my phone at times especially because it isnt something I do often. Thinking about it now, i always unintentionally avoid calls, facetime and audio messages. But I actually found it nice to speak without the feeling of being rushed or overwhelmed, it was just like talking to a friend (if that makes sence) and im glad i did it :) We just finished chatting on the testing rooms, which i didn't plan on going in for the whole thing i was mainly checking to see if people would join. Little did i know, I ended up staying for the whole call, unmuted and had my camera on!! I didnt talk much but I really enjoyed the conversations i listened to and the ones i got somewhat involved in and yet again I didnt feel rushed or judged at any time. This was definitely an unexpected exposure but im grateful for it At the beginning my anxiety actually spiked quite a lot and my mind was yelling at me to get off of the call and I felt as if my room was getting hotter and hotter when it wasnt. I also had some short thoughts about what if I had a panic attack while on call and a bunch of other what if's but considering I would've never done this if it was with any other people I think I did pretty well and im proud of myself for going into the rooms :D
