Yesterday, a crushing wave of anxiety hit me. The choking sensation in my throat felt almost unbearable, my head spun, and every muscle tensed up. I slowed my breath, reminded myself ‘this is anxiety, not danger,’ and reached out for support instead of hiding. Today, I'm still feeling the anxiety, the choking feeling, the constant tightness in my neck, the dizziness. It hasn’t fully gone yet. But I’m not letting it pull me into a spiral.
