I listened to Mourice's youtube video and the podcast and I learned so much from them. Some of my main lessons: 1) there is no way to get rid of the anxiety/OCD, you can lower it, and its also how you deal with it 2) getting reassurance from others can be detrimental because it just feeds into the OCD 3) go out and do the things, even while nervous. 4) so many people suffer from OCD/anxiety and we are not alone 5) its okay to feel panic attacks/anxiety at night. Accept them and just continue on 6) intrusive thoughts do not make our personality/who we are, they are separate from us. 7) there is a lot of overlap between anxiety/OCD. 8) Exposure therapy/acceptance can take many years, we have to be patient 9) improvement is not linear 10) It can take a long time to find your true diagnosis. These are just a few of the things that I have learned :D
