I stepped out for a grocery run today with my parents after a week of staying indoors. I was already feeling a little uneasy lightheaded, anxious, and running low on energy. There were moments where I felt choked, bloated, and overwhelmed by thoughts like “What if I faint? What if I get a panic attack?” But despite all that, I listened to my body and returned home after. I'm learning to respond, not just react. It wasn’t perfect but it was progress. Today reminded me that even in the middle of discomfort, I can still choose to show up. Some days are smoother—like the family trip I made a few weeks ago after 2 years, almost 200 km. Or the 2 office visits I did back-to-back last to last week. Setbacks may happen, but they don’t undo the strength. Progress isn’t linear. But it’s still progress. 🌸
