When I got back from my holiday, I forgot that I booked in my kitten Monty for the vets to get him microchipped and neutered. I was already pretty exhausted (physically and mentally) from my trip and I always hate going to the vets, I always feel as if they are going to find something really bad or something that's been holding my pet in pain without me realising and it really spiked my anxiety. However, I still went and dropped him off, they gave me the option to stay and wait until the procedure was done but I quite literally ran out after dropping him off and saying goodbye and then felt guilty that I "ditched" him quickly. My heart was racing, the weather was too hot anyways but I was sweating and the ringing in my ears started but because of that, I sat down and let the feelings be there and let my heart race as much as it wanted. I soon calmed down enough to start making my way to meet up with my older brother and he drove us home with the AC on. (My mum picked him up from the vets after the procedure was done) I didnt post it as a win at the time because it didn't feel like one, but after talking about it with Peter while testing out the rooms feature, I realised that it definitely was a win This has also further proved to me that some wins don't feel like wins atthe time, but once you look back on what you've coped through it, it becomes clearer that it was a step forward
