You know what's been interesting? Since participating in exposure, I actually have the desire to go out more. Like, I'm anxious and I'm trying to control the situation and trying to mind read and predict the future but I still have this inner desire to go somewhere, do something, be uncomfortable. It's weird to actually listen to that voice after falsely believing that I couldn't do something because of my anxiety. There's this thrift shop (I love thrift stores if you can tell 😬) that I've eyed for like a few months now. It's only a 10 minute drive from my place but I've always been hesitant to go alone, I still have trouble being alone sometimes. I decided to be scared and I drove there and went inside this totally new place meeting people I never met before. I was actually able to drop off a donation which felt nice and I picked up some lovely autumn decor - my favorite has to be the pumpkin banner, it's adorable 🥰 Lesson learned: as you continue exposure, the desire becomes stronger than the fear ❤️
