Its been over 4 months and this is my 50th win on this community!! Which has also made me wonder how many wins I would've had if I acknowledged them before this community. I'm so grateful to have been here since the very beginning and watched it grow, its definitely helped me a lot more than I can say in my journey towards recovery. Thank you all :) I've been on an agoraphobic adventure for a few days, today has been the last day and the whole holiday been such a whirlwind. My anxiety has been so high but I've kept on struggling through it just to say I've done the whole holiday, which I couldn't have done even one day a year ago, agoraphobia has ruined my life along with anxiety and all these other challenges I have but I won't let it win. I went through a pretty severe (but not my worst) panic attack today on the beach, it started because it was really windy and loud with a bunch of people everywhere and then it spiraled when I heard my heart racing and I felt like I couldn't breathe, where I was on the beach was a place where I think an ambulance wouldn't have been able to get to either. I soon calmed myself down, grounded myself with 4 or 5 different techniques with music on and kept repeating to myself that I was ok, none of my family was around but honestly if they were it probably wouldn't have helped in my situation. It took me about 45 minutes to fully calm down but I walked back to the car and waited for my family to come back. We are now driving home and we will take stops where we can but I definitely cannot wait to be home!!
