It’s been about a year since I fell into my anxiety spiral, and the emotional roller coaster hasn’t stopped since. Mornings are still the hardest, and certain times of the month make everything feel heavier. It’s so easy to sit in the struggle, but that’s why I appreciate this community because even in the hard, there’s still some good. I’m still showing up, still trying, and doing things I once thought I’d never be able to do again. I hadn’t driven in a month, my car was in the shop and then got into an accident but yesterday I drove 20 minutes to Costco with my husband, even though every part of me wanted to say no. I didn’t feel confident enough to stay long, but I did it. I even suggested we stop at Target so I could grab some of my favorite snacks. I’m not sure if I’m doing everything right, but it feels good to leave the house. It’s felt like a prison at times, so every outing is a small but meaningful win.
