Sorry bout the title, I just thought of it 😅 I just got back from my second ever therapy session but this time, it was to go over results. So last month, I went to my first ever session and I was told I might (might is important) have ADHD, Social anxiety, and Autism. Oh, I'm also sorry bout dumping other diagnosis wins on y'all 😅🥲 Anywho, the results were about the ADHD portion. My therapist sent these sorts of questionnaires to my mom and one of my teachers (the greatest teacher ever I might add) and it was questions about inattentiveness and impulsivity an hyperactivity an all that stuff. I got checked out of school, went over, and my Psych (I think that's the term 🤔) told me and my mom "so looking at this chart, all the impulsivity and hyperactivity are all the average person's. BUT over on the inattention row, it's almost the max you can get." 😟 *gulp* She told me that I could get help from the school such as short breaks during tests and some other stuff I can't exactly remember. She also suggested medication and also (I believe) a planner. Me and my mom said yes to it all 👍👍 I got sent home with an absence paper, a paper encouraging the school to help me out in whatever way they can, and a few ADHD lists/worksheets. Sorry bout the yap session, I'm ironically trying to avoid doing my missed homework 😭👍
