I’ve gone to the grocery store here and there since falling into my anxiety spiral, but usually I’d just wander around or grab a single item as an ERP. This week, I decided to change that: I’m committing to staying long enough to work through my entire grocery list every week, as a way to rebuild my confidence and I’m doing it solo. Right now I’m sitting in the parking lot, and I haven’t even made it home yet, but I just finished getting all my groceries and checking out. It was rush hour, so I was a little uneasy about coming, but once I got here that feeling started to fade. This is the first time I’ve gone grocery shopping completely on my own in over a year. Wild to think about! And I did it with ease. :D We can do this! It takes a lot of work and patience, but I’m these are the results we work so hard for. :)
