Quick about me: Hi guys! I'm Melissa. I'm 23, from Canada, been struggling with health anxiety for 6 years. --- So I started a new job 2 months ago, and so far it's been okay (my boss is terrible lol). Anyways, recently my anxiety started to act up, especially in team meetings where I have a fear of everyone watching me 'die' - which I know is never going to happen because my doctor says I'm fine. I get all the symptoms - the heart palpitations, chest pressure, skipped beats - all the scary stuff. Lately I've been telling myself that 'it will pass, it will pass.' Which it does! Sometimes it takes a while (sometimes hours). Once it passes, I get really happy in my chair and do a little dance, my co-worker thinks I'm weird lol Sometimes, just accepting the anxiety and let it run its course (even though it won't hurt me, nothing will happen), is something I've been doing a lot even though it can be extremely uncomfortable. I'm going to keep going, tackle this stupid anxiety every single day.
