I reached out to my employer's disability resource center to open up about my panic disorder. I've been finding it challenging to open up about this with those that I work with because of my fear of seeming incompetent, but I'm slowly starting to challenge myself to open up. Related to that, I had another big in-person meeting today that included people with which I fear looking incompetent. During a part where I wasn't talking, intrusive thoughts crept in. My neck got warm, HR was increasing, and I was starting to get the urge to get out fast, but I challenged the thoughts and reminded myself it's just a thought, and that shut it down. I'm still not 100% committed to having a panic attack in these meetings, but I did somewhat allow the feelings to happen and it felt good to challenge the intrusive thought.
