Hey, I’m new here, but I’ve been able to channel some strength from reading other peoples wins. So I wanted to share a bit about my story. I have PTSD, and like many of you, I suffer from ectopic beats, I panic about them, I can’t count the amount of times I’ve been to A and E, crying out for help. Etc. Last Christmas, after completing a year at uni, life took a turn. I started having ‘episodes’ periodically and having to go home. I was somehow able to keep my grades up, but it has been ROUGH. And I’m still very much on that journey. i went home last week because I felt so awful. But I came back on Sunday, and since then I’ve found the strength to go to work, the gym, sit in cafe’s, and all sorts. Today I woke up with ectopics and I thought my day was ruined. But in preparation for work tomorrow I did the journey in and hung out there for a while. I also then went to uni and spent some time there to acclimatise, it felt awful, but I know it’s the way forward. I could really do with some encouragement for the weekend ahead, but if I can do it, you can do it too x
